Egypt: Greater Cairo Air Pollution Management and Climate Change Project.
Senior Communications & Engagement Specialist
1- General background
The government of Egypt is currently implementing
the Greater Cairo Air Pollution management and
Climate change project financed by a 200 million
US dollars loan from the world bank. The project
aims to reduce air and climate emissions and
increase resilience to air pollution in greater Cairo.
2- Objective of the Assignment
The project seeks to hire a Senior Communications
& Engagement Specialist to provide overall
management and coordination for the behavioral
change and communication component.
3- Scope of work and Tasks
The scope includes:
• Coordinate and support TIUS in communication
planning.
* Develop an annual work plan and budget for
outreach activities.
* Oversee the quality of communication deliverables.
* Prepare monthly progress reports.
4- Qualification and Experience
*Holds a relevant academic qualification
* Excellent written and oral communication skills in Arabic and English.
5- Contract Duration
Full-time contract for one year.
